The New Plainsmen Quartet
has
become a favorite with churches, pastors, promoters, DJ’s and fans
everywhere. Based in Chickasha, Oklahoma, this quartet has accomplished
more in its six years than most quartets do in ten years. They have
recorded five projects, had articles written about them in major national
gospel music trade publications, and appeared on television both locally
and worldwide via satellite. They have also shared the stage with some of
the biggest names in Southern Gospel Music such as Gold City, The Hoppers,
The Talley Trio, The Perry’s and Gary McSpadden, just to name a few. The
New Plainsmen continue to work with many organizations such as The
Salvation Army and Hospice, as well as local Fire Departments, Children’s
Homes and Historical Societies. By doing so, they have helped raise
literally thousands of dollars for these organizations. In January 2005,
The New Plainsmen put together their very own 7-night Gospel Music
Caribbean Cruise aboard Royal Caribbean’s Rhapsody of the Seas. The
Quartet was recently invited to showcase two of their Top 80 songs during
The National Quartet Convention in Louisville, Kentucky. And they have
also just recorded their first live video in Branson, Missouri, which will
include a live CD as well.
The New
Plainsmen Quartet has released five songs to national radio, all of which
have charted consecutively in the nationally known Singing News Top 80
Charts. These songs include My God Is Big Enough, If You Could See Where
I Am, God Made A Way, I’m Ready To Go, and Heaven Bound. “If You Could
See Where I Am” is their most requested song and has also become the
quartet’s signature song. The quartet will be releasing their sixth
national single off of their live Branson project in the near future.
The New
Plainsmen Quartet travel thousands of miles and sing approximately one
hundred dates a year. Their great stage appeal, high energy and smooth
harmony make them “The Quartet” for any occasion. Pastors comment that
they are absolutely the best quartet they have ever had, adding that The
New Plainsmen Quartet “has it all”: harmony, entertainment and most of
all, the ministry that is expected of a gospel group. DJ’s continue to
comment on the quartet’s smooth harmonies, powerful vocals and their
professional sound. Promoters also love using The New Plainsmen because
of their crowd-pleasing excitement.
While The
New Plainsmen sing many new and original songs, their concerts also
feature a wealth of classic quartet singing that gospel music fans enjoy
so much. People who attend a New Plainsmen concert instantly become a
friend and fan of this quartet. They often share how God used The New
Plainsmen to minister to their lives, with several giving their hearts to
Christ.
The New Plainsmen Quartet
has dedicated their talents to reaching people with the good news of Jesus
Christ. If you enjoy positive and powerful four-part harmony with a
mix of laughter, praise and heart- touching moments, then you must
experience the dynamic ministry of
The New Plainsmen Quartet.
